RMG LivingWhat Is It
RMG living is a property management portal where customers can see any announcements, documents, maintenance issues for the building/property that they own or rent.
Customers can make payments against their rent, ground rent or maintenance fees. the general purpose is to keep the customer as well informed about their property.
The Challange
We were given an existing project that wasn’t finished or fit for purpose. It was outdated and had a lot of technical debt as it had been in development for a few years in a custom php framework.
Services Required:
- Server integration
- Database management
- Customer login
- Active directory authentication for admin users
- Multi tenancy front-end
- Project needed to be split into front-end and back-end API
- Needed to write an app that watered down version of the front end
We sat down with the client and ironed out all the functionality that they needed then the functions that were nice to have.
We then divided that into sprints and worked through them in our agile/kanban workflow so that we could constantly prototype functionality and the polish them off once they'd been signed off as working to the specification.
