In the blink of an eye another month has passed us by and what a month it’s been!

We’ve had birthdays, blogs and bangers to add to our playlists, so let’s take a look in more detail at what’s been happening at Huddled this October.

Bye Sam

This month we waved goodbye (and shed a little tear) to our lovely Account Manager, Sam. Sam left Huddled – and rainy Manchester – to head back home to Middlesbrough.

We miss her very much already but wish her all the luck in the world in her new adventure.

Tom’s birthday

Another month, another birthday and this month we celebrated our Search Executive, Tom’s birthday. As you can see, he was pretty happy with his cake!

Our Accounts Director may be on maternity leave but we couldn’t forget her birthday too. Hope you had a great birthday, Sara. We can’t wait to see you back in the office!

Bangers ‘n’ Booze

Do you remember Bangers ‘n’ Beers back in August? Well we thought we’d bring it back this month but with a spooky twist…

We embraced the Halloween theme and asked people to add Halloween-related songs to our playlist to be in with a chance of winning some booze for their office.

We had some great entries for songs including Michael Jackson’s Thriller (always a classic) and some clever additions such as Maneater by Nelly Furtado.

Like with all competitions, there could only be one winner and this time it was Degree 53.

Big congrats, we hope you enjoyed your booze!

Our Blogs

We posted 3 blogs this month that discussed how to improve your email open rates, how Google has influenced search and why the hospitality industry can benefit from having an app.

Playlist Friday

October has been a great month for playlist themes including our #BANGERSnBOOZE playlist which received great recognition. Other themes include:

  • Artists from the North East
  • Songs with black or white in the title
  • Songs that reference weather conditions

If you have any ideas for future playlist themes, why not let us know on Twitter: @huddledmedia, and don’t forget to follow us on Spotify at HuddledMedia for all our weekly playlists!
